You can go to the site and sign up as an affiliate for free. CJ has thousands of different affiliate programs and products to choose from. All you have to do is place links on your website and you're ready to go. CJ also tracks your links performance, shows you impressions and hits that your advertisement links are getting. It is a full resource center for affiliate marketing. They have great support, payouts come on time and it's easy to use.
The second affiliate program that I've found most useful is called Clickbank. Clickbank is great for beginners as it has a very easy to use interface. All you to do is sign up as affiliate for free and choose a user id. You can then enter your user ID into hoplinks for any product you want to sell, place them on your site and you're ready to go. Another advantage is that you receive a check from Clickbank for all the products you sell through Clickbank.
This is great because if you're selling products from 15 different companies you get one combined check from Clickbank that comes every two weeks. Also Clickbank tracks all of your sales and has great customer support. I've been using them now for two years and I've never had a problem with them and their checks always arrive on time.
